Sapphire Vapor-X HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 This video card has a strong performance and excellent cooling, besides that you'll find a mini-DP to DP convertor and HDMI cable included in the bundle. Allthough this graphics card uses reference clocks you can always overclock it yourself. The high quality heatsink gives the card a little more headroom.

Sapphire Vapor-X HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 The Vapor-X GPU Heatsink takes care that the card runs low noise and high efficiency. Hardware additions like a 10-phase power control and patented Black Diamond chokes will guarantee a good OC result. People who have bought this can download TriXX, an OC tool by the manufacturer.

The AMD Radeon HD 6870 performance under Linux stands relative to several popular graphics cards from previous generations. Aside from Unigine Heaven where Catalyst driver bugs are hampering the performance, the Radeon HD 6870 performance was quite impressive overall.

The Radeon HD 6870 is a fast graphics card and its price/performance is not bad at all. If you're looking for a high performance graphics card that can also be used by open-source Linux drivers, this card should be worth considering, besides that it only costs a few dollars more than other reference cards.
