Being in the sun of a car for a week charged the battery by only app. 50%, a Nexus One can be loaded on a full charge.
It cannot be used as an AC adapter because it comes with only one cable.
The solar charging ability of it is probably more useful for the flashlight than charging a phone, but for people who need power occasionally and have nothing else but the sun this is your only option.
