Kingston HyperX PC3-17066 tested by tweaktown
The HyperX PC3-17066 was compared to the A-SATA X-Series PC3-6000, G.Skill Ripjaws PC3 16000, TEAM Group Xtreem PC3-12800, the last three modules were tested with a Core i7 860 OCed@4200MHz.
Conclusion: In the memory benchmarks the Kingston kit performed very good. The heatsink is very high quality To get everything out HyperX PC3-17066 you'll need a a decent CPU with high overclocking capabilities.
Overclocking: With an Intel Core i7 860 @ 4.5GHz tweaktown didn't get into windows, with a base clock of 178MHz(cpu@3742MHz) they succeeded without an issue. Keeping the timings the same, tweaktown finally achieved a speed of 2274MHz DDR which is about 6.6% more than the standard speed.
