The Toshiba NB305-N410 comes in three versions:
- Blue version: NB305-N410BL
- Brown version: NB305-N410BN
- White version: NB305-N410WH
April 2010 they all had an MSRP of US $400.-.
Some improvements to the NB205-N325 (which also has a pink version instead of a white one) are: a 90 gigs bigger HDD, GMA 3150 IGP instead of the GMA 950, and an Atom N450 instead of the older Atom N280.
The NB305 has the same looks as the NB205, but has louder speakers, a sleeker chassis that goes from 1.4 inch in the back to app. half an inch in front, furthermore it has app. 8.5 hrs (The manufacturer claims over 11 hours) of
battery life. The weight comes down from 2.93lbs to app. 2.6lbs.
Connectors:
Left side connectors: RJ45, VGA, USB wich is able to charge connected accessories even if this notebook has been turned of, 3in1 card reader.
Right side connectors: 2x USB ports, headphone and microphone port, lock slot.
A 0.3-megapixel webcam provides reasable images.

This netbook has (only) 1GB of RAM, the reviewer thought that 2GB would have been better, but Microsoft has strict rules regarding the Windows
7 Starter price tag and the amount of memory. Windows 7 seems to be a bit demanding especially if Mcafee and other bloatware slow down everyday usage.
The Design is more shiny with a Mocha top and a silver keyboard. The keys on the keyboard feel a bit smaller than the older model,
the trackpad remains the same .
This netbook was compared to the HP mini 210 and the NB205.
Battery life:
A long life of over eight hours can be considered above average for netbooks. The NB 305 got hot at the bottom and sometimes felt a bit
uncomfortable.
Benchmarks:
The performance was tested with these machines using Performance Mark:
The CPU resuls were a bit disappointing: 350 for the NB205, 360 for the HP mini 210, but only 331 for the 305. Disk speed however has gone up dramatically when compared to the NB 200 series.
Conclusion:
This netbook just isn't as great of a follow up to NB 200 that the reviewer would've wished for.
