Samsung N130

This netbook was compared to the Samsung Q310-34P laptop and the HP Mini 311.

In the Cinebench as well as in the Big Number Crunch benchmark the atom N270 was the slowest CPU, in the HDtune benchmark you'll have to keep in mind that the HP Mini 311 has a Mushkin Io series SSD drive.

Conclusion: This netbook is powerful enough for daily use. There were issues with the flash video playback from the internet, because Adobe Flash is, unlike Ion Graphics, not optimized for netbooks. The average video file could be played at full screen. Photoshop, Office 2007, and Dreamweaver were no problem for the N130, the reviewer even upgraded to Windows 7 Professional ! This netbook is not equipped with integrated Bluetooth. The N130 was highly recommended by the reviewer.

The battery is extremely good and works up to five or six hours.

The avarage price on 'Best Buy' sites was round and about $250.-, on march 29 2010.

Benchmarks: Cinebench, Excel 2007, Geekbench, ScienceMark, HD Tune.

Linux: The reviewers were able to run Ubuntu 9.10.
