CPU speed:
The G73 is equipped with an Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors, the last two will have the abilaty of Turbo Boost, with a max CPU speed up to 3.33GHz for the 620M dual core at the press of a key.
The G73Jh can also be qequipped with a quadcore 820QM, 1.73GHz for all cores and in Turbo mode 3.06 GHz, the Cinebenc R10 multicore benchmark result is round and about 9600 and can roughly be compared with the Q8200 Desktop processor that has a Cinebench result of round and about 10000.
Memory:
The internal memory could be upto 8 gigabyte, DDR3 1066/1333 MHz up to 8GB with the i7-720QM / 820QM platform (other models will ony have 4GB of DDR3 1066MHz), which will guarantee a smooth game performance.
Gaming:

The power consumption of HD5870 is about 60 Watts.

Audio:
EAX 4.0 3D surround lets you hear every detail in spatial stereo, ASUS claim that the speakers have a much better performance than the usual notebook speakers.

Dimensions:
The weight is 3.4 Kg, it has an 8-cell 5200 mAh battery and together with the battey it's 3.85Kg, unfortunately ASUS gives no indication concerning the 'battery life'. The measurements are 420 x 310 x 189 mm (W x D x H) the thickness is 568mm.
