Fujitsu and ECS have announced pads busing the Intel Atom Z670 chip, the Fujitsu STYLISTIC Q550 and the ECS ElitePad V07-I, also Samsung and MSI will release Oak Trail-equipped tablet PCs. Samsung's PC 7 Series should be availabel soon for $699. The MSI WindPad 100W is expected to be launched next month.

There's no information on the Z670 from Intel yet, from non-official sources it is said that the processor has only one CPU core and is clocked at 1.5 GHz, has a TDP of app. 3-5 watts and it includes HyperThreading. This Oak Trail platform is meant for very low-power devices. The CPU core has 512 KB L2 cache, like other Atom microprocessors, the lithography will be 45nm. ....More
