hothardware reviewed the Samsung R580
This notebook was compared to the Dell Studio XPS 16 (Core 2 Duo P8600) and the Lenovo Thinkpad T410 (Core i5-540M) in the gaming and 3Dmark 2006 CPU benchmarks, both competitors score higher in 3Dmark06 because of a better processor, in 'real gaming' with Half-Life 2 Episode 2 and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars the R580 takes the lead.
The PC mark vantage bench was a comparison between the Dell Studio XPS 16, ASUS G51GX, G51J-A1 and the UL80Vt. The reviewers concluded that the R580 was a real number cruncher, multimedia and gaming ....More

ProClockers reviewed the Gigabyte GV-R577UD-1GD
This graphics card was not compared to another card in the benchmarks. In the power consumption section it was compared to the Sapphire
HD5750.
Conclusion: This card has the same features as the HD 5850 and 5870, like DirectX 11 and Eyefinity (a 'single screen' multiple monitor
solution), the performance is of course not as high as the 58xx series but nevertheless it's good and the cooler is better than the
'reference cooler'. In other words an great card for a great price and a great overclocker. The editor gave it ....More

In the Cinebench as well as in the Big Number Crunch benchmark the atom N270 was the slowest CPU,
in the HDtune benchmark you'll have to keep in mind that the HP Mini 311 has a Mushkin Io series SSD drive.
Conclusion: This netbook is powerful enough for daily use.

legitreviews reviewed the Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Toxic 1GB
Sapphire has has placed a custom designed three heat-pipe heatsink (which is rather quiet) with an 11 blade cooling fan on the GPU core,
that makes 'factory overclocking' possible. Because of the DisplayPort you can run ATI's Eyefinity, a multiple monitor 'experience', a
power supply of 600 Watts is recommended by the manufacturer.
Overclocing: You'll have to keep in mind that the Sapphire 5850 has allready been OCed to 765MHz(GPU) and 1125MHz(memory), so the
headroom is probaly limited. The reviewers tried to further overclock it with two (free) tools, the AMD GPU Clock tool and MSI
AfterBurner. After using these tools ....More

pcstats reviewed the ASUS EAH5770 CUCore/2DI/1GD5
The ASUS EAH5770 CuCore/2DI/1GD5/A graphics card has about the same performance as the Radeon HD 4870 video card, since the GPU core die is manufactured @ 40nm this video card's power consumption is a lot less.
Conclusion:
The Radeon HD5770 Graphics card doesn't bring huge increases in performance to the market if you look at the same price tag, when compared to older DirectX 10 cards in the same price range, the performance results are about the same, the big plus is of course DirectX11.
DX 11 game titles like Stalker: Call of Pripyat and Dirt II are allready on the market and the number of DirectX11 games will probably grow fast. Hardware tesselation for more details in games, will be a 'hot item' in upcoming games
titles. ....More

hardwareheaven reviewed the Novatech X1 CA
The X1 CA is a high-end gaming notebook with a 220w power supply, NVIDIA 285M GTX GPU, Core i7-720QM or i7-920XM mobile
CPU, 2x 2GB of Qimonda DDR3-1066 RAM, that is going to compete with the ASUS and Alienware notebook gaming linups.
Conclusion:
Allthough this noteboke has the lowest X1 CA specifications it performed very well. With a dual GTX 285M in SLi mode, SSD
RAID and a Core i7-920XM, the Performance would probably go through the roof. Since it is not very portable it can be seen
as a replacement for a desktop computer.....More

A cheap and capable card, perhaps not a race monster, but compared to the HD 5750 it will be about 50% cheaper, the stock
cooling solution is great allthough it cannot compete to more expensive models. It's cheap, performs accordingly overclocks OK and
the build quality is very good.....More

This netbook was compared to the Acer 1810T, Geteway EC5409u, Dell Inspiron 11z, ASUS 1201N & 1005PE and
the HP mini 311 in the benchmarks.
Conclusion:
This is a well built and good looking netbook with a very good non-reflective display LCD display, the
battery life is OK, and still remains a netbook, which means small, light but very slow. Allthough it got
the 'Editiors choice' his final thoughts were: If your want a low price, small size and a long battery
life and a slow performance, this netbook will do OK, but ....More

pureoverclock reviewed the Sapphire HD5830 1GB GDDR5
The Radeon 5830 has the same size as the Radeon 5870, it is not a small card, allthough you would expect this because of the lower
performance than the 5870. Compared to the cheap Radeon 5670, the Sapphire Radeon 5830 is a giant. The Radeon 5830 also requires two
PCI-E power connectors, while the 5670 does not. The Radeon 5830 uses Samsung GDDR5 memory @2000MHz which is....More

AMD Radeon HD 5000 cards have lower power consumption nowadays and better a performance per Watt than older video graphics cards, especially idle power consumption is important here because a decktop computer could be running all day, this card does not use active cooling and does not have an extra PCI-Express power connector, so it can draw only 75 watts.
